Amazing!
I opened this guy in a pack and was actually very pleased since I would never craft him. He is super fun to play with, if he didn't cost 9 mana I would put him in a ton of decks.
TIP: Play him on a board with as many other minions as possible. After you play him, you can just click "end turn" every turn. You can sit and watch decks such as control warrior waste all their shield slams and executes trying to remove him!
Not as random as I thought it'd be, bummer.
Although the sorry emote can occur when he's out, so... that's a plus I guess.
But... why?
I got Gold Mayor Noggnfogger and Patches the Pirate (But I dont like face decks at all, so I will never use Patches the Pirate.). So probably, I am going to delete my acc too :D
I actually got him three times in a row...
My first gadgetzan legendary after opening 35 packs, f*** my luck!
mine too! But after to open 40 packs! ;-;
f*** our luck then XD
There are two reasons why this card will almost never work as a last resort.
1.) The cost is way too high. Ignore the body, stats really don't matter, but the fact that you drop him so late prevents you from spamming the board with other little minions before ending your turn, and because it doesn't work like Misdirection, you can have them hit an ally.
2.) Its mechanic doesn't necessarily help you. Again since it doesn't work like the secret, the most it can do is stall for maybe one attack (or less if it makes them hit face). It's basically Mogor except it adds the spells in. Mogor at least has decent stats to go with its effect, yet as soon as you add spells, which CAN work like Misdirection, you drop +5/+5 worth of stats. If this card was serious it would've been either cheaper with the same stats, or a 1/8 body for Deathlord-like stall.
He reminds me of Troggzor, as spells are what really can bring you back in the game, but your opponent wouldn't be dumb enough to play them while he's on board.
Imagine dropping this guy along with a Pit Snake or something similar B)
Mage got it from Malchezaar against me, unfortunetly for him i have crushed his dream with Sabotage. Am i bad person?
Yes. Because you were in wild mode. jk
Kinda a big bummer he doesn't function like Misdirection and allow friendly fire
I'm playing it in my reno priest ^_^ It is actually really useful. I play it in one of several situations:
1) I play it when I have a board and want to play a big threat next turn. Noggenfogger protects my big threat the next turn so that it stays on board (Namely Confessor Paletress or Ysera in my deck)
2) It saves you from aggro. If I have a board and I'm being threatened by aggro I play Noggenfogger to stop them from being able to hit my face. Any kill-commands they may have could kill their own minions and their minions may kill themselves on my healthier minions.
3) If I'm facing Freeze mage and I've cleared both doomsayers and don't think they have flamestrikes I play noggenfogger to prevent them from being able to lethal me with burn. If they cannot clear the board, then they are effectively useless as the spells go flying.
Ultimately Noggenfogger is very strong if you meet the following condition: You have a board that is stronger than theirs.
My first legendary from MSG. KMS.
Oops killed opponent instead.
I'm close to 100% sure that after some time, maybe weeks, maybe months, someone will discover one way or another to make this card the most op thing since dr. 7. It's one of those cards that are so wild that there must be something extremely powerful about them, even if he looks like absolute trash right now.
There is. People don't know how to deal with it. They make dumb mistakes. It also allows you to bypass taunts, so there's that. It's not a very reliable card, but it's a lot of fun.
