Imagine if it also had a Malorne's deathrattle...
Fun fact: the creature in the artwork appears to be an observer, a demonic race of floating squids (same as Floating Watcher). Found it interesting that it has only one tribe, though, since it could've potentially been the first multi-tribe minion (correct me if I'm wrong).
wtf how imo the pirate card is better than that 5 mana murloc
I'm not convinced that this is a great card but the animation is really cool. :-)
Should work. Curator can in fact draw spawned legendaries, Kripp was rolling the dice with his 35 legendary deck
As a standalone unit he's about as good as Stonetusk Boar. Which is to say, not very good.
This card is insane. It's a freeroll 1/1 charge most of the time. It doesn't cost a card from your hand or any mana. It's as if blizzard said all pirate decks automatically start the game with a 1/1 charge.
So this card is good for your aggro pirate deck if you don't top deck it or have the issue of running through your whole deck. Takes up one slot and allows for pirate synergy build up. Not a strong card however worth keeping. Could work like a ping. If you get a bad start in wild hero power turn 2 and turn 3 its Ship's Cannon into a Southsea Deckhand with auto draw Patches the Pirate from your deck which activates two ship's cannon shots that deal two damage each! That would be fun in wild.
On a side note...Does this card combo with Edwin VanCleef?
It should combo well with One-eyed Cheat
Nah, probably will not be good.
Nailed it.
Terrible card, need to hold onto pirate if you plan to combo him.
the one who said this card its terrible card EleGiggle
Still you could play Southsea Deckhand --> 2x Cold Blood --> Faceless Manipulator, same 20 dmg, requires 4 cards as well, 8 mana instead of 10 and no need to have pirates in the deck.
And I think you are misinterpreting the term OTK as no class has 20 health.
gang up patches first then play southsea captain
Pirate decks need a lot of things, but I don't think a Wisp with Charge is one of them.
I don't know, it makes your deck thinner and guarantees that you're gonna get an extra 1/1 charge in the early game (turn 1 or 2 is when you usually play your first pirate), when it actually matters.
It seems really good in aggro pirate decks.
