Frodan said it best with his comment on the reveal stream: "why is it 3 mana?"
(He was referring to the weapon, which also costs 3, not the minion)
Just put it in the dishwasher and... forget it there.
I want this to be good, because it's really cool... But no. No it's just terrible.
There could be some tiny incidental combo with N'Zoth? maybe the weapon can help finish if your opponent hangs onto a board clear? Still no? Yeah...
deadly poison costs one mana
hero power costs two mana
2 mana 3/2 costs two mana
value
How about no. This is essentially a 3 mana 3/2 with deathrattle: Draw an overpriced weapon. Worse than slow.
Not good since you still need to spend mana to play the weapon (which is average cost, 3mana for 3/2). You lose tempo with this card. you play it on turn 3 (stats can't even trade with other turn 3 minions <3/4 stats>) , then spend turn 4 playing a 3 mana weapon to finish off your opponent's 3 mana minion from last turn.
3/2 weapon for 3 is still good, as demonstrated by Eaglehorn Bow, Deadly Poison and Rallying Blade. It's bad stats for the cost but that's fine in rogue because of cards like Backstab and Prep which make up for the poor tempo of cycle minions. This card will be unfair in arena and might see play in standard, we'll see.
It may be bad, but sometimes you just need to tell your opponent to Fork off....
It's slow, but it can potentially kill 3 weak minions on its own. So it's like some weird value, control card for Rogue?
Fiery War Axe costs 2 mana.
weapon cost 3
SO LUL
The weapon costs 3 and rogue has still no good heal. Bad.
