Beast Druid already very much viable. Just ask Thijs. Enchanted Raven is a good and balanced card. It would be autoinclude in all Druid decks if roots wasn't a thing but it will definitely find its way into Beast Druid.
Jesus Christ, the Horror! That won't always happen, of course, but just the fact that it CAN and the Menagerie + Stranglethorn combo can also be played on curve just makes it overwhelming.
So is beast druid the new face shaman?
Good buff to Mounted Raptor
That card looks very good to the arena
*played turn 1 against Medivh
"Uh... that's my pet."
steals minion
River Crocolisk is (still) crying in the corner right now. Thanks Blizzard.
yeah, cause druid can't have decent early drops, right? it's only 4 stats for 1 mana in CLASS CARD, and doesn't have a obscenely powerful growth effect attached to it like the ones of Mana Wyrm and Tunnel Trogg
That's fair.
Blizzard is really starting to fall into a bad pattern. If they want a noncompetitive deck to be competitive they just stick an overpowered one/two drop in there. This thing isn't as insane as Undertaker, or Shielded Mini Bot, or even Tunnel Trogg. It could still make beast viable though, but mostly I just think it is lazy card design, to just give a struggling deck type a op early drop. This laziness is why aggro is so hated in HS, the aggro decks work because they just have the most obviously overpowered nonsense.
I agree with the sentiment on buffing a deck with an overpowered card, but compared to one drops like Mana Wyrm, Tunnel Trogg, or, goodness forbid, Northshire Cleric this seems pretty balanced for a class 1-drop creature.
Ideally it will be a cornerstone of Beast Druid without just being an auto-include in all Druid decks.
This is just so good for beast Druid with this turn one, then make it a 4/4 on turn two and draw a card
4 of these = 4 mana 8/8
get rekt shaman
Consecration
this card is not the end-all-be -all 1 drop for most druid decks because living roots is more flexible and has more value with power of the wild, fandral, and savage roar. will potentially make beast druid relevant at higher levels of play again, but is not going to be a staple in most druid decks out right now. definitely a strong arena card, but the class needs more efficient removal to really gain more traction in that format.
Druid is doing fine right now, giving it efficient removal would make it overpowered. It's one weakness is falling behind on board take that away it won't be a fun meta.
1 mana 2\2 with no bad effect? Seems legit.
This card is really good to play on turn one and on turn 2 Mark of Y'Shaarj which gives you a 4/4 and you draw a card on turn 2
yes ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
