Eternal Sentinel, for all the rich fucks who'd rather spend 400 dust than 100!

Really awesome card but can someone explain me why we dont see it in most of famous decks such as Loyan's Bloodlust or Totem decks? Maybe instead of one Flame Juggler and one Flamewreathed Faceless in those:

There is no card in Hearthstone I'd take the faceless out for. That guy is just bonkers. He wins games just by putting your opponent on tilt sometimes. He's legendary quality. Running two feels like cheating.

This card should have loatheb's play sound.

I was among those people who loved overload cards because of its upfront tempo, now I love them even more!!

This card is the god of tempo in this set. Shaman has always had the ability to tempo out absurd things due to overload, at the cost of losing tempo on the next turn. Even lava shock is a low tempo play. But a 3/2 for 2? I'm satisfied playing a bloodfen raptor for tempo, and this gives me the mana on my overload back? Shaman is a force to be reckoned with now.

Elemental Destruction into Eternal Sentinel will be a common board clear option for Shamans.

A great, great card! Not meta-defining, but very good. It is like Lava Shock but better. I do think that in a semi-overload based deck, you should run both. I do think that Lava Shock is better when you already have minions on the board, and a huge tray of locked crystals at the same time, but in any other scenario, this card is better. Well Played Blizzard! ASTONISHING!(lol)

A huge advantage of this card over the old Lava Shock is that it grants more reliable tempo in conjuction with Overload board clears, namely Lightning Storm and Elemental Destruction. Whereas Lava Shock on an empty board simply does 2 damage to face, Eternal Sentinel gives you a 3/2 with which to establish board presence, while still unlocking Overload. It's a less clunky option overall for decks which heavily rely on Overload cards to maintain tempo.

Not to mention the added versatility of being able to play this on curve as a 3/2 on Turn 2. Blizzard really wants Control Shaman to shine this expansion, and I love what they're doing to breathe new life into the class.
