The way this card combos with Dupilcate is EXTREMELY OP.
It will summon the two Deathwings that are added to your hand.
Its glorious when you team up with N'Zoth.
Seems legit.
How does Deathwing, Dragonlord interact with Deathwing? Does the discard happen first, or does the summon happen first?
the discard doesn't trigger
I just tested it on Druid AI. it discarded my hand first, and I got no dragons on board other than Deathwing.
I've been using these two cards together in a variety of decks lately. The discard definitely does not trigger when Deathwing is put on the board from the deathrattle effect of Deathwing, Dragonlord
i think you guys probably misunderstood CodeDmitry's question. He probably means "what happens if i have Deathwing, Dragonlord on the board and then i play Deathwing?"
Ah, that makes sense.
I tested this today to confirm. When Deathwing, Dragonlord is on the field and you play Deathwing, this is what happens:
i play it with defender of argus so the i can just taunt it and my opponent can't get through it because most of the time when i summon it they just go for face and summon a lot of little taunt minions
This joke has probably been made several times already but I bet Kibler shit his pants when he saw this card for the first time
Just got was 3 Deathwing, Dragonlords from the packs. IN A ROW. WHY?
I wish this put copies into play for 2 reasons you dont loose any of them its just all upside. but most of all because they would be gold copies if you played a gold deathwing.
Hu3Hu3 Gratz, brazuca.
So I just pulled the golden version. Love the art and idea but it just seems so SLOOOOW. Can someone convince me this will work? Maybe some sort of slow taunt dragon deck?
You'd be right on the money there. I've a very slow, high-value Dragon Paladin that works incredibly well with Ysera, Nefarian, Chromaggus, and Scaled Nightmare as the usual durgens to get dropped.
There's an old saying in Hearthstone that a minion that costs more than 7 or has an attack value higher than 7 that does not immediately affect the board is a bad card. Well, big dog Deathwing is a 2-swole-2-control minion that, when removed, brings on more threats. The dog's chasing C'thun's cats up them trees.
Can you post or link to this deck? Thx.
Sure, here's the list, though I may have updated it a bit since taking this screenshot.
I love dragons and currently have many of the legendary dragons. Is it worth crafting this? Currently have 5.4k dust. I also play standard.
Now I can think of putting Nozdormu in my dragon paladin deck.
