Well you can't always get want you want. You have to start somewhere and there you can build up your collection.
And what are you trying to say? Blizzard needs to make money somehow. Which dumbass game company would go OK HERE'S EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO DO WHATEVER YOU WANT> GO HAVE FUN NOOW!! They need to keep you paying to keep the game f2p for others.
And it is better for game balance too if all the good cards are legendary. IF they are common they will begin to cause a huge power creep and drive the power level up-up-and-away cos everyone will have them and will run them.
Alright man. My fingers are out of steam. We'll just have to agree to disagree I guess. I just think Hearthstone is a lot of fun, and I'm going to play it because that's how it is for me. It isn't a grind for me to play HS no matter what deck I'm playing, because I enjoy the game. Sure, I'm a huge fanboy of HS, because it's an enjoyable experience every time I play. So you saying what your saying won't do much for me. I was just trying to get you to see that it's all about how much you like the game. I guess if you aren't as into the game as me, you wouldn't care about all that. Sorry to get you all up in arms.
You have to remember behind this game is just another scheme to make money. They have to do something to slightly upset the balance. An example would be a noob playing WAR GOLEM against a Dr Boom. He would say OOH THATS OP I WANT THAT!! Thus paying money in order to be on the same power level. There will constantly be a source of income of new players paying to be competitive with the more experienced guys.
The fact it is free to play means NOTHING! NOTHING! AT! ALL! It just means you don't have to pay to play. They have no obligation to ensure everyone is on an even playing field.
You're being too idealistic here. EVERY COMPANY will have some morally dubious ways to ensure that they make money. The Dr Boom-War Golem scene occurs in every card game.
And yes. They do make a Free to play game in order to make money because WHY THE FUCK ELSE WOULD THEY WASTE HOURS OF EFFORT AND LOTS OF MONEY JUST TO PROVIDE YOU WITH ENTERTAINMENT ONLY? Look, Blizzard employs people who needs the company to make money to put food on the table. Think about the real commercial nature of this society and then make judgements. Blizzard isn't running a charity here.
Morality can be viewed in different ways. If you feel that this game is immoral then don't fucking play it. Simple as that.
Alright look guys. Either bring this to personal messaging or take it somewhere else, because this belongs on a whole different thread. Sorry for my involvement.
K fine. Thanks.
Or double Deathwing! ... wait.
Got this baby up to 272,416 attack until the opponent finally tired out.
yeah, but there have been whispers (get it, cuz the expansion... *sigh* nvm) that Silence is going to get heavily nerfed, or taken out altogether.
I think it could see some play in dragon decks, but its more likely to be played in decks that have buffs and Djinni of Zephyrs or whatever.
I can see this being played in "Rogue Dragon Growth Deck" if it will ever be a thing. The idea is that you can play this card on turn 10 with master of disguise and start growing your dragon. After 4 turns it will be 32 dmg monster and with 8 health it almost impossible to get rid off in stealth.
This can be also combo'ed some earlier in game: Play this and conceal with Master Of Disguise in hand. On next turn hide it. The next quest is survive for 4 turns and draw Ironbeak Owl. If you manage to buff this dragon with Cold Blood you can kill your opponent in 3 turns or even 2.
This is very gimmicky deck because of such spells as Brawl and Twisting Nether exist, but other than that i don't see how this could be reliably played. Just dont get it.
I definitely see myself using this in my dragon decks, particularly dragon mage where im hurting for a good 6 drop and for mid game threats in general. It seems like a good way to bait removal before your big guns come out and if its not dealt with then gg.
Very good combo with Inner Fire, 7 mana 8-8 : double this minion attack at the start of your turn.
This could be used with the Djinni decks out there.
Someone probably already said this, but; NIGHTMARE ROGUE INCOMING!
I've never been much of a Rogue player, but this card sparks my interest. Here's why...
On turn ten, or maybe even earlier, with some help from our friends Cutpurse and Tomb Pillager, you play Scaled Nightmare, Cold Blood, Cold Blood, Xaril's Briarthorn Toxin, Conceal.
Next turn it's simply Sapperino tauntterino and rest in pepperinos, with 26 damage to the FACE BABY!
I mean this card has some real potential IF Conceal won't get tinkered with. If so, your Cabal Shadow Priest can kiss this MoFo's reptilian ASS!
