Pretty good card but I think its going to be severely underrated going in to the expansion. It's definetly going in to my control Shaman along with Halazeal though and as many have pointed out it will be real interesting in Renolock or Handlock!
Eyyy a Worgan! Someone remembered those existed!
14 hp heal OP!!! but really, you are paying too much for 2 extra stat points since healbot was 8 no matter what and against a burn deck you would be healing 2 at most, the only decks that gets 5 minions and up consistently is the current zoo and paladin but with creeper, imp- losion and muster for battle rotating out the introduction of this card is close to meaningless in standard and even more if some sort of freeze mage survives the changes.
This card sucks. If your opponent has a full board I guarantee they will be hitting you for alot more than 14. That and this card takes 5 mana and does nothing to the board.
This seems like a pretty awesome card! This with Shadowflame for a potential (coined) 8 turn board clear of 4 damage (of course Spell Damage makes that higher). For other classes and as one of the guys mentioned above; the potential is there!
The more they reveal WOG the more I just want to play it already.
*table flip*
Yeah, play this as Reno Warlock, and then Shadowflame it for board clear, will be epic)
In a reno warlock before a board clear
I think this card might suit in the meta, this is pretty bad against OTK style play, like freeze mage for instance. But overall this card is pretty solid, this is an azure drake body in the worst case and it can heal you for 14 in the better case, wich can be doubled with bronzebeard or if you have two of them Kreygasm. But this will probably be a 4 heal in most cases, except if you are loosing against zoo style deck, in wich case you might probably buy enough time to get into late game.
And this might be really strong in aggro deck, because of Leeroy Jenkins synergy Kappa.
Like other people have mentioned, you want to heal when you just cleared the board or when your opponent is setting up OTK. This card is worse than healbot in those dire situations, +1/+1 just doesn't feel it'll make up for it.
this is 1/1 more than healbot and can even heal up to 14 health 28 with brann
Something to note is this goes well with a board clear, allowing you to play this first and then play a board clear to clear off those minions and get a bit of health back (though the minions will need low health based on your board clear). This also works well with Frost Nova.
In Shaman though, this is a worse Hallazeal (not strictly worse because if offers immediate impact, but overall worse), though Hallazeal is REALLY good. I can't tell how good this card is. It looks "interesting" to say the least.
I think people underated this card...
Let's just compare it to healbot:
Sure most of the times, yo probably won't be abble to heal as much as him. But healbot was so strong!!!
Just look at the card as a nerf to him... you lose your stability but you gain +1/+1
Overall the card is pretty good:
Against aggro it act like a healbot: probably abble to heal you for 6 or 8 and for a control deck heal is strong for counter aggro
Against control: you will probably heal you for 2 or 4 but in control machup you want that +1/+1 to make more efficient trade
1/1 on a minion you are playing for the battlecry is basicaly negligable.
As much as I want to see potential in every card; this is just a worse healbot.
Besides the fact that your opponent has to have FOUR minions for this to actually be worth it, your opponent can play around it unlike healbot.
Maybe in standard it will be okay but its just a worse healbot (unless you combo with leeroy...)
whats the point of healing for 8 or 10 when u cant clear 4/5 minions?
It's definitely worse than Healbot, but I'm quite certain that, generally speaking, it will be a perfectly suitable replacement. As long as you get 4 health out of it (should not be a problem against aggro, and this card is only really useful against aggro to begin with), it's fine value. While it has the downside of being borderline useless against control (something Healbot is not), it has the benefit of comboing perfectly with late game board clear for better heal and better stats than Healbot.
It'll work beautifully in Shaman which has the best 3 mana board clear (enough room to drop Thalnos on turn 10 as well, if necessary). Considering the new Shaman legendary as well, I think control Shaman will become very viable.
I supose at 8+ mana you could play this and then some sort of board clear, but in most cases this will either come down too late, or not give enough life. It does have better stats than healbot so it likely only has to heal for 6 to get comparable value.
Most of the times I see opponents full board i want to clear it, not heal my hero...
But it might be good with freezing spell, I don't know.
Decent in freeze mage, and not good enough in any other deck (I think)
new card fo freeze mage
