Ok thanks for clarifying.
In that case you have no guaranteed synergy, which isn't great.
But if your entire deck was class cards that means that your new deck will get all (random) class cards too correct? That could potentially be good due to the tendency of class cards being high value (especially the class legendaries as you stated).
Getting a new hero power might come in handy if you have hit fatigue, otherwise it is probably not good to replace the best hero power in the game.
So much to be unsure about here. Do you choose the class you switch to? Doesn't say "Random" or "Discover" just "Replace." Reads like you will get the Hero Power and cards of the same class but not 100% there. Also do your Warlock cards become an equivalent mana value card, but 1 cheaper, or could a Flame Imp turn into a 7 cost Grommash? Excited to see how this one works.
Wait, is that in the deck or just hand and are the costs replaced as follows - minions with minions, spells with spells, rares for rares, 1 costs for one costs and such, and if so how would you get to say a weapon. Regardless this card will surely bring back some of the good ol RNG to this card game XD.
eater of secrets
eater of secrets
I actually did that but only got 2 secrets =c
Why should I want to give away the best hero power for something random?
When you are near fatigue do you want life tap or do you want armor up
But you can do that already and nobody is using it. :-)
What Hero Power ?? another basic Hero Power ?
This card has only value in late game. It could give you the last burst needed to eliminate your opponent but otherwise I don't see any value in this card.
Could be good in arena
This card has too much RNG to be of use, except as a last resort.
It swaps all warlock cards for that of another class at random (unclear if its warlock to X, or warlock to X and/or Y and/or Z).
Not only that but it reduces the cost of all of them by 1, this means you can abort a seemingly lost game if you run out of options with your warlock cards.
I feel the reduced cost isent to compensate the randomness of the swap, but to help you when you run out of options.
IMO its a last resort card and that potential to change the game is OP.
If you use golden renounce darkness, do you get all golden cards and golden hero power? Probably.
Probably works like Golden Monkey, as in if your card was golden, the switched version will be golden.
So will this replace duplicate cards as well? Like it will give you for example 2 Zombie Chows for 2 Flame Imps? Or does it give you all unique cards like The Golden Monkey?
it says that it replaces Warlock cards. so i suppose neutral cards will stay in your deck.
Really what i meant was will it give you duplicate class cards or singles, like 2 Shielded Minibot for 2 Dark Peddleror like one of each two drop from both classes.
Stupid questions but, do neutral cards get replaced? If a priest played this card, would his hero power change? If so, could priest get warlock's hero power? So much for renouncing darkness......
With the exception of losing the best hero power in the game and getting random shitty cards.
