This card will make you lose in fatigue... I think this card will be a lot worse than twisting nether; Warlocks already have good hero power which enables them to draw a card. I think this card would also be bad in zoo since you can't use this till turn 10, and will be a dead draw for the entire early game.
The bane of Bane of Doom
this card can work perfectly in murloc deck enemy can destroy your murloc so you need alot of draw also enemy will have alot of minons in the board and you focus on his hp so destroy his monsters draw alot of murloc and kill him :D
This card is interesting. I'm scared to see how this will work out without the drawback of fatigue happening. I mean... 10 mana... not able to draw all the cards (if the entire field is filled) because you'll burn a few cards in the process. Twisting Nether is still much more suitable and amazing.... BUT... it's another DESTROY ALL for a Reno Warlock deck. :D
Draw a card for each ..... what? For each what?
Cmon blizz.
it means for each card it destroyed you draw a card for example if you have 2 monsters and enemy have 3 monsters you destroy all of them and draw 5 cards
You are DOOM!ed, early Millhouse Manastorm.
This card is for Zoo decks. If you didn't manage to kill your opponent by turn 10, you most likely have like 1 or 2 cards in your hand, both worth 3-4 mana max, while the other guy is building a big board, dropping minions to finish you off. Now, you use DOOM!, his minions are gone, your hand is full again and in the next turn you can drop 3-4-5 minions and start hitting him hard again, while he probably dropped his best drops just before your DOOM!.
I believe this card will pretty much NEVER see play unless you can add more cards to a deck. In Renolock, people use ooze instead of Harrison Jones because they already have a lot of card draw.
I don't see how this card is BAD. I mean, it's slow, yes, but it both clears the board and draws you cards.... what exactly is bad about that? Hearthstone players always want more draw and clear, and this does both. You get tempo, they lose tempo, you draw cards, they lose mana investment. Plus, card art is kickass.
Because you also don't want to overdraw when clearing a big board, and as a warlock, you already the best draw engine in the game in the form of your hero power, and the exact same board clear with Twisting Nether.
It can be an awesome comeback mechanic, clear the board and draw cards. Start the next turn behind on board, having to face whatever your opponent will play for 10 mana, but likely in a better position than the turn before, with cards in hand. Yes, it's a really good card in that regard. It just doesn't seem to fit with warlocks. I would play that without hesitation in priest, though.
I will play this alongside nethter in Reno Lock
I've seen Renolock run Ooze instead of Harrison because of too much draw... That on top of the fact you can play Nether 2 turns earlier is also a factor, so don't throw Nether aside just yet ;)
I might try to get lucky with Wilfred Fizzlebang. I'd take this card for 0 mana.
How exactly does this have massive potential? On T10 you still lose an entire turn to reset the board only to give tempo to the opponent. Hopefully out of the 2-6 creatures you murder you draw your answer for whatever else he puts out next with his 10 mana open board. To me it looks mediocre, but we shall see how many greedy control decks lurk next month.
You lose only 1 turn, whereas your opponent probably spent more than one to build up that board, but potential of this card is the card advantage it generates. With that kind of card advantage it's really difficult to lose, unless opponent plays Divine Favor, which makes it extremely easy to lose. Of course you could instead go Twisting Nether+Dark Peddler? or Deathwing, but they don't give as great card advantage.
Keeping the Dreadsteed dream alive.
