Very interesting card!
10 mana
Destroy all minions
Overload 1 for each minion destroyed
3 copies in each deck
I will run two in a token Warlock deck. NO RAGRETS
mmmmmmmm, Dreadsteed mixed with this, could be veeeeeeeeeeery intresting
For that time when your opponent played their C'thun, but you haven't drawn yours yet.
Twisting Nether + Sprint = DOOM!
Since all of the god cards are 10 mana this might have been made to counter them. Also now reno lock can run 2 total board clears.
DOOOOOOOOOOOM FOR EVERYYYYOOOOONE 4Head
Drawing tons of cards may be a downside. If you actually can afford playing it, you probaly play some kind of very slow control deck. Burning card on hand or getting closer to fatigue as control deck are the worst ideas.
Playing against control -> fatigue
Playing against aggro -> hope you survive till 10th turn and burn half of your deck (inc. Reno)
Interesting card.
I run a couple different versions of Dreadsteed decks. At no point do I want to draw that many cards that late in the game. Considering I usually have most of my board filled with dreadsteeds, I'd say it's at least 6 cards drawn. I'm usually sitting at 6+ cards in hand, so burning cards is a real possibility. You also can't play any of the cards that you draw, because it's 10 mana. So you would also draw another card for your next turn too. That's way too many cards for the effect. I already run 1 twisting nether in my Reno Jacksteed deck, and I can't see any advantages of DOOM!. I also play my dreadsteed decks as fatigue decks. Drawing extra cards is a huge no-no in fatigue matches.
Hope you don't get fatigued
Twisting Nether or this? Would 2 extra mana really be that bad when most of the time when you play Twisting Nether you don't really do that much on that turn?
I think it could still find use. If your opponent's hand is empty, clearing the board and drawing cards for next turn would be great. I mean, we all (should) know how much value is in buying a single extra turn with Doomsayer or Ice Block or Twisting Nether. This buys a late game turn and sets up for another with card draw.
I feel like you'll be hard pressed to find a use for this, but maybe in a Reno-lock it might find late-game position as a replacement to Deathwing. That is, as long as you are not in fatigue. Sometimes drawing a lot is not what you want, even if you aren't fatiguing.
Fun card, but not a good card.
I think that the implied use of this card is to get to your C'Thun faster, which could make sense in a fatigue / C'thun Warlock deck, if such a thing can work.
I have serious beliefs that one of the Old Gods will have a massive deathrattle. Just reading the new WoW Chronicle lore book that was released, Y'Shaarj was an old god who's deathrattle killed millions of n'raqi and aqir after he was torn from Azeroth by a Titan. I think this card would be meant to be an activator for that deathrattle.
it certainly fits warlock's design to ride the line between good and bad with drawing so many cards
