Annoying but easily counterable by mill, eater of secrets, faec decks, lots of healing/armor (unless u are vs quest mage). When this cards gets moved so many mage decks will be dead in standard mode. Idk why blizzard wants to nerf mages this hard when they already are getting owned by things like i mentioned (oh and le diry rat takes special mention)

I've faced mage with 5 ice blocks (2x deck + 1x tome + 1x glyph + 1x book) - and someone still thinks that this card is not op? It should be moved to wild at least...

Just happened to me the last match. It's ok if I face a mage with 2 or 3 ice blocks, but 5... come on, it's ridiculous. RNG at its best.

I dont understand why conceal needs to go but iceblock stays in standard. I am not saying this because the card is op but the concept of freeze or similiar mage archetypes is as old as HS itself. If you truly want to make the game "fresh" and "exciting" you have to reduce the incentives to return concepts, which have been proven to be effective before. Loosing to double Iceblock into whatever might kill you the next turn might not be overpowered, its just really getting old.

If you said play deck like this is disgusting and unskilled i dont think so, because play deck like this is all about decicions. You do realize that ice block isn't really that good against hunters and pirates because they kill you anyway by popping it twice

I never think that I would say it. But this card shouldn't exist in Standard. GTFO freeze mages, you're so annoying and disgusting.

Card needs to go. Allows for unfun non interactive gameplay. No skill involved for the player and a waste of time of the opponent.

Because Blizzard doesn't understand their own game. If they really wanted to kill Freeze Mage, anybody worth their shit knows Iceblock and buying free turns to kill you is what made the deck work, not burst from Ice Lance.

Thing is, the deck never gets popular enough on ladder to justify using tech cards for secrets because it's always had extremely polarizing match-ups. It smashes certain decks (stuff like Handlocks) and then in turn gets smashed by anything that is a Warrior. It's always been a terrible card to deal with, but I feel like they won't kill it because it's always been Mage's crutch to have a competitive deck.
