Clarifications
- Does not copy adventure boss Hero Powers. (Source)
- You will keep the stolen Hero Power for the duration of the match. (Source)
- If your opponent has changed the damage or mana cost on their current Hero Power, you would not receive these benefits. (Source)
- This also copies non-base Hero Powers such as DIE, INSECT!. (Source)
Warlock doesn't really need much help. It's one of the best classes atm, while on the other hand Rogue really does need it and its a shame to see the cards they got in this expansion.
I think people are misunderstanding this card. I doubt it's going to give you your opponents hero power, rather I think it's battlecry just imitates your opponents. I.E, facing a paladin: summons a 1/1, facing a warlock, Take 2 damage draw a card, etc.
That's new idea, really like it, but can't imagine what will happen before see it in play.
Do you also get to keep your own hero power? Or does this replace your own hero power?
This card basically destroys your hero power and equips your opponent's. It won't copy passive effects like from, Coldarra Drake or Maiden of the Lake, but if you steal a basic hero power Justicar Trueheart will buff it.
There are so many interesting battlecry in adventures. They may ban this card in PvE
Turn 8 GG
Thanks Blizz for some fun Adventure mode Shenanigans!
Easy win vs. Emperor Thaurissan :D
Adventure Mode Must-have confirmed.
Somehow I feel like all Adventure Modes will be stupid-proofed against this, similar to how some cards are auto-destroyed when played in the current modes (IIRC Alexstrasza is auto-killed against a few bosses). Like, it'd be broken if you had this against Emperor Thaurissan.
why did you guys vote for the other card even after brode said this one was better (he wasn't lying!)
I'm curios how it will work with all the new hero power interacting modification cards
Probably one of the most fun cards in the expansion!
Does Justicar Trueheart improve the copied hero powers? I'd think so but I'm not sure.
It says "starting hero power" and it basically is your opponent's starting hero power you are copying in some cases.
It does
Assuming you steal one of the 9 base Hero Powers in the game, yes, it will upgrade it. If you steal something that isn't base (e.g., DIE, INSECT from Majordomo Executus, or Summon Infernal from Jaraxxus), then you won't get the upgrade.
Use in adventures to take their OP hero powers. You heard it here first.
Nope, sorry, heard it from Trump first.
Finally majordomo got nerfed .. that card was ruining the game for me
oh man i would love to play a class that isn't paladin, and then build a deck made up of all the cards that give paladin stuff and then play this card get: magadin, shamandin, warlockadin, roguladin, warradin, hunladin, druladin, priestadin.
