Blizzard's new achievement : the card that doesn't work.
Well, it does work, but only in regular play mode...
duh its not intended to ruin adventures
It also does not copy shadow form.
I had higher hopes for this card before he was released, now not so much..
*Just a reminder

This card is bugged, it doesn't work.
I just used this car against a priest on shadowform, who had used is hero power the trun before, and when I played the card, I did not receive is hero power. Is that normal ?
Didn't work for me either in the same situation, but I were in Tavern Brawl, maybe it's the Tavern that is bugged
It's the Justicar Trueheart for Shamans and Rogues, whose hero powers after turn 5 become almost completely irrelevant.
A rogue deck running this needs to be careful about putting any weapon buffs in their deck, since after using Spelleater, you
no longer have easy access to weapons.
I'm really surprised nobody thought up a competitive shaman list with this card. Shaman hero power is so unreliable and limited
to 4 totems, that any other hero power is better, unless you run thunder bluff valiant.
On a side note, I hope some face hunter puts this in their deck, disregards their loss rate, and use this card to steal jaraxxus hero power for BM.
Hey, I just used this in tavern brawl and it didn't work?! Warrior vs Paladin.
Same here - Druid vs. Priest. Seems like a bug that affects Brawl and Arena at least.
Interesting card.
Let's leave aside the bugs of this card for the moment and judge it on its merits.
The primary focus of this card is to allow classes to attempt archetypes where their hero power runs completely counter to the archetype. Control hunter is held back because the hunter hero power does not directly affect the board, and unlike the Warrior hero power, it contributes to shorter games instead of longer ones. More notably, control rogue tends not to be an archetype partially because the Rogue hero power's primary merit is that one hero power covers you for two turns; in deep control matches you often have leftover mana on a turn, and if you already have a weapon as a rogue, extra mana tends to be useless.
I saw this card played in Arena and the opponent didnt get the Battlecry.
The card is broken atm.
I had this card in a warlock arena run if it comes up with average epics I'd recommend to pick it in arena as a warlock. Just play it whenever you're running low on health or somewhat close to fatigue and it's really op.
I had this card in Tavern Brawl while playing against a Shaman. He played Charged Hammer and used it up to get the 'Deal 2 Damage' Hero Power.
I played Sideshow Spelleater thinking I was pretty lucky.
Nothing. No change. The card is broken.
I can definitely confirm this. I was playing as a warrior against a warlock and my hero power did not change. Still just gain 2 armor.
Same here. Playing tavern brawl as warlock against rogue. Used this card and absolutely nothing happened.
