I got a crazy idea most people forget on all the reviews.. what if.. you play this.. IN PALADIN .. crazy huh? instead of sylvannas which sucks now anyway..
sylvanas is going to be top tier this expansion with high value cards and control being favored , especially in paladin which now has even more ways to kills its own board
The irony is no one will play this card except paladins because paladin spells and secrets are garbo
I'd be happy getting a buff, consecration, or Tirion out of this.
I think, this card can be used in "tempo"-rogue build, that might happen with class new cards such as Cutpurse and shado-pan cavalry. Grand Girl for hand pseudo-refilling + Burgle
Can be used in druid to get weapon.
Really good card, comparable to Gnomish Inventor in that you sacrifice 3 stat points for a card draw. Although it draws from the paladin card pool, thus making it somewhat unpredictable, do keep in mind that it does not sacrifice a card from your deck to get that card, so when evaluating this card's value you must keep in mind that it carries another card along with it, making it much easier to get value out of this card, even if you get an Eye for an Eye.
There is no reason to use this card in other classes because only paladin has access to recruit synergy. So the question is would Midrange Paladin like to use this card? Currently Sylvanas Windrunner is the only 6 drop in common lists. Using this card as pseudo carddraw could make sense since Lay on Hands is the only real draw mechanic in Midrange Paladin.
I seriously can't think the logic behind making a card non-specific to a class, but giving something from a specific class.
I mean, look at Secret, they are given to only 3 classes (only 2 uses it in the meta), why not all of them have it ?
I know it's quite "diverse" so to speak, by doing so, but, if you can have it on more than one class, why not give it to all ?
If for example Secret is only available to Mage, then it should be Mage and only Mage can have Secret-based card.
Rogue, for example, only he has the Combo (for now).
I guess in the coming future, Neutral card can also pull a combo (considering this is the direction Blizzard is going).
So blizzard decides that they hate paladins so much they decide to take away any shred of uniqueness it had... Wonderful
Great values
Aaaaand you're up against Freeze Mage.
Put your faith in the light!
Eye for an Eye? I get that. Repentance? I play that. Tirion Fordring? I need that. But I'm not a rapper (paladin).
There are much much better 6 drops. The card text doesn't seem to fit in with the inspire mechanic, and I can't see this anywhere else besides the arena
This is a really weird card. Why a random pally card? I can't think of a deck that you would build a around this card.
Emperor Thaurissan, Sylvanas, Cabal Shadow Priest, Savannah Highmane, Fire Elemental, Shieldmaiden... Why would anybody put THIS into ANY deck?
Randuin Wynn anyone? ALL THE RANDOM
Part of me hates this and don't want cards design like this....
Other part of me want 2 of these for all the classes and put them into a deck :/
3 mana 2/2
"Battlecry: Put a random Hunter card into your hand."
How about no.
