Brood Affliction: Green shows up turn 1. Think you can just SMOrc Chromaggus? Too bad.

Brood Affliction: Red shows up turn 2. Already this is strictly better than Loatheb's hero power on Heroic, Necrotic Aura, as it does 3 face damage, gives you a card that could do even more face damage, and either way it penetrates Ice Block.

Brood Affliction: Blue shows up turn 3. This is tempting to keep at a glance. Woe betide you if you do when Chromaggus starts throwing out 0 mana Flamehearts and 4 mana Flamestrikes.

Brood Affliction: Bronze shows up turn 4. If you keep this when Chromaggus has a hand of any size, you instantly lose. Don't think an AOE will save you, either, due to his Chromatic Dragonkin.

Brood Affliction: Black shows up turn 5. You're certainly losing by now given that you've used at LEAST  3 or 6 mana to cure the most deadly Brood Afflictions, so now Chromaggus will just quickly refill his hand to secure your fate.

Cant wait to mill this guy when i get the Black card. 

I wonder if Handlock players make the best use of this. Anyway you can actually play the cards to get rid of them (just like burrowing mine if you can retrieve it without drawing i.e Tracking) which will give him tempo advantage. Oh and the cards count as spells so you can actually use them with Violet Teacher, Gadgetzan, Mana Wyrm etc. 

One last thing to note that as the game drags on it will be easier to get rid of the card. They only present a danger in the early game.

Fun Fact: Discard card mechanic (warlock class specific mechanic) can remove these cards with a risk to remove your needed cards.
