It's a life saver against agro decks.
Everybody talks about this card in Round 6; but i am more interrested in this card in Round 7-10. Lets say you have 3 minions with higher health than attack, and you play against a handlock that managed to get 2 giants with taunt. Now you use Lightbomb together with a Northshire Cleric and Circle of Healing. Your damaged minions get healed for a big chunk of their lost health and you draw a lot of cards. Or in Round 10: Here you can even use it with Northshire and a Injured Blademaster.
This card is not overpowered but also not trash. It is a good tech-card that allows us finally to deal with some decks that priest previously couldn't never deal with. A deck build around that you can heal your minions up while wiping the other board with it can be quite strong; but that doesn't say that you should completely rely on it.
1 Lightbomb might find a way to some decks, while i cannot see anyone run 2 of it. Wait and see; maybe we will see a new meta that allows us to use this card.
Priest is one of the decks that have a lot of lower damage/high hp minions and works fine:
Injured Blademaster (healed): 4/7
Auchenai Soulpriest: 3/5
Sludge Belcher: 3/5 and 1/2
Zombie Chow: 2/3
Northshire Cleric: 1/3
Ysera: 4/12
That doesn't say that you don't have also many x/x-minions with equal health and attack; but for this we have Power Word: Shield and maybe Velen's Chosen and on the Gimicky side: Divine Spirit and Temple Enforcer (which itself is sadly also a 6/6)
Interresting this card get too with Shrinkmeister: You have an important minion that has too much attack so that lightbomb would remove it: Shrink it; you will lose your Shrinkmeister but the minion stays alive.
A deck with minions with high health is NOT gimicky; especially for priest; naturally you shouldn't look at a Mogu'shan Warden (except that it might get viable with the new Hobgoblin; but thats another story). Even a Yeti is strong and has more health than attack.
Giants killer. Also kills most zoo minions while keeping annoying deathrattle minions like nerubian eggs and haunted creeper untouched!

For tournaments, this is one hell of a card vs Handlock.
True today perhaps. But post GvG you might do that. Still with all the upcoming huge attack minions. I think one of these bad boys in your deck would suit you well in a control priest.
You don't have to tweak a priest deck for just handlock with lightbomb. This card is amazing versus practically every meta deck.
6 drop is highly competitive. In general I'd keep the board clears to my auchenai combo or a holy nova which is enough board clear. & put down a great legendary turn 6 for a better curve, but we'll see where the meta takes us.
good anti agro tech, as their minions tend to hit harder than they can take. clear on turn 5 and again on turn six and it's usually over. not great vs control though, it's pretty much dead vs any control except handlock.
i guess the point is that most priests have minions with more health than attack so the priest ends up ahead
Not understanding why a epic and why they wanted to pick this card for priest... artwork is cool though..
At the very least, this card will be quite the boon against any Handlock players who arrogantly decide to play their remaining giants after seeing us play our Big Game Hunter and 2 Shadow Word Deaths.
I think a card that helps you when you are behind is amazing! To many cards just feel like "win more" cards. They have cool effects but unless your already winning you dont really get to play them. Kheltuzad, Anthonidas or Sprint are all nice cards but whenever i play them i dont feel like they have been that essential to my win. This card however can turn games around!!!
