He is not as bad as Hemet though. He looks pretty decent in mill rogue deck)
Actually it works well with [card]Tinkmaster Overspark[/card] ))
tempted to keep this piece of shit card on the off chance they buff it so i can DE for 1600
edit: buff idea, battlecry: destroy minion with 5 attack or more? kinda like a buff BGH which was suggested already
Just got this in gold from a pack and disenchanted it immediately to craft something useful ................
This should have Big Game Hunters effect, and BGH should have Nessingwary's effect.
This card should be a 6 drop and say destroy a random enemy minion does not trigger deathrattle. he supposed to be the best hunter for ffs
this card should gain something when it does destroy a beast. Like how Harrison Jones draws cards when he destroys a weapon. He probably still wouldn't be played
I have opened two of these so far. Worst legendary in GvG, no doubt.
This is worse than Stalagg, and that's saying something...
This card is underpowered. It'll barely be playable in the most hunter-heavy meta we've ever seen. It needs to be 6/4 instead of 6/3.
Or he could instead take control of a beast.
Or kill dragons as well.
Or giants instead.
There are better ways to buff cards than jack up the stats.
I'd prefer him as a 5/3 for 4. Granted, that still sucks, but it solves one of his three major flaws.
It's the same art used for Hemet Nesingwary in tutorial if you remember (or just que one up on alt. server).
Looking at the deck statistics, there are no hunter or druid decks with this card....Well that's understandable since you might be forced to kill your own Druid of the Claw or Highmane.
Been waiting for Hemet to become a card ^_^ while he isn't great, the card is very suitable to the character. I definitely approve.
The only reason people will pack it in decks is if Gahz'rilla becomes a popular threat.
@Brewmaster: Even then Gahz'rilla isn't a threat so to speak. I cannot imagine a situation where Hemet would even be considered in a deck.
And that will happen right after Angry Chicken becomes a popular threat
I think people are hating on this card because it isn't cost-effective against the current mix of playable beasts, but that isn't the purpose of the card. As far as I can tell, Blizzard is providing this as a tool against control beast decks, in case they get too strong. They do seem to be pushing for control Hunter and Druid beasts with the new cards, so there are going to (possibly) be a lot more high-cost beasts floating around, in which case this card could become useful. It may not get played if the meta goes a different direction, but that doesn't make it a bad card.
Lol.
