not that bad on a face warrior, esspecialy if you avoid a taunt. But even if it doesn't kill a taunt it still may remove a minion from their side.
Edit: I have come to realize this is a really powerful card being a 3 mana 4/2 weapon, upgrade it twice and you get some pretty good face value, 6/4 basically on turn 3 with a coin of course

The worst thing about this card is the fact that it has no reason to exist, we already have War Axe early on and on turn 3 you don't want to be replacing it with this piece of shit.
It makes sense that the warrior has a sucky weapon like this.
Weapons are OP in general. The warrior already has 2 fine weapons to control the early-mid game board a third fine weapon would make the class OP i think. This weapon does allow the warrior a third weapon and it fits the age old standard theme of the warrior being a dumb brute force. Im gonna try using it for a while in a warrior agro deck. When trying to kill the enemy by turn 6, it is not all that important if i hit his minion or his face :p

Out of all the Ogre cards that came out with GvG, this is probably the worst. This is because if you accidentally hit the wrong target, you pay for it with damage to your face instead of one of your minions. However, this card can be very useful.
1. It has the same stats as Death's bite but for 1 less mana
2. You can bypass taunts or ignore stealth which can sometimes win games for you
3. You may not even attack the wrong enemy at all, and you just played a really cost efficient card.
Overall I think this is a good card for some decks, because control decks don't want to miss their attempts to control the board. When aggro Warrior becomes more prevalent then this card will have it's time to shine
This is excellent for people who are f2p instead of p2w as they may not have naxx quarters unlocked meaning no deaths bite. plus this could be very viable for bypassing as people have already said. finally the chance to miss makes this card interesting not broken or lame or anything else people have said
Stop with this 'p2w' nonsense, if people are willing to invest more money into the game it's their choice, but at the same time you can't expect the game to cater to F2P players, if that's the case, might as well make the game entirely free. It's also funny how the whole 'p2w' excuse is never used in top ranks because all the players there have enough passion for the game to have invested a lot of money/time to build up their collection, then it's not p2w, then it's just spending money towards a game they truly enjoy(just like anyone would spend money towards any sort of hobby they enjoy in life) and not using penny pinching as an excuse.
With that being said, if you're a f2p player and you're reading this, I don't mean to offend you by any means, if anything, you're a f2p player and you've never complained about the game being p2w and grinded for your collection, you have my utmost respect.
I made the huge mistake of selecting this card in arena. 4 hits so far, none of them hit the minion I attacked, but the enemy hero. (In two occaisons there were 2 enemy minions on board)
Won't pick it again.

Agree with you. This thing is USELESS. Opponent had jeeves and 4/4 on board I had 1 card in hand aimed for 4/4 and hit jeeves. Next turn hit face instead of that 4/4. Still I had low expectation of this and picked it, because I had bad options in draft and no weapons so far.
It can hit stealth and behind taunt, and it cost's 1 less than Death's Bite. Sure the Bite is stronger, but packing 1 of these in a deck for situational moments, and not just using it on turn 3, is a good mid to late solution. If it can hit the undertaker, northshire cleric, mechwarper, etc. behind the belcher, that's pretty good. If it hits the belcher, no big deal, if it hits one of the minions, bonus :) Or, if you hit the hero, instead of hitting the stealth minion, no big deal, if it kills the stealth (without having to AE) than bonus again. Situational card, pack 1, use it at the right times. It's cheap...

This set has at least 3 sets, ogres(50% attacking wrong enemy), 2 mana 3+2 stat class monster, and legendary
The needed to give it different stats than Death's Bite for it even to be considered as a potential replacement. It's not worth the RNG in most situations for 1 less mana.
It's another interesting addon to make weapons unique, but I won't be using this if it goes live with it's current stats.
The point is to NOT hit the target you're aiming at. It's to kill stealthed minions and minions hiding behind taunt.
A situation card, when it comes out, just run 1. Helps bypass taunts and hits stealth.
