Shaman totems and Paladin Silverhand Recruits are technically 1 mana minions, the value you can get from this card on an empty board by say turn 1 coin hero power, turn 2 Recombobulator could give you an under taker, web spinner or even young priestess. Even in worst case scenarios with a grimscale oracle your still getting a free card even if it's a 1 drop with the likely hood you get a 2/1 or 1/2 and an effect makes it a really good 3/2 2 drop. Of course this is for early game where later in the game you can use it in similar decks that run cards like gnomish inventor or other weak stat battle cry minions to make them into stronger minions of the same cost (could make a yeti or a pitlord!! even if you risk a moshugun warden). Paladins and shaman will probably be the best candidates for using this card outside of arena.
The new Tinkmaster Overspark?
I don't understand why, because this card transforms a friendly minion.
It should work. Steal a minion, choose to attack or not, then transform it.
you take a minion then transform it and you keep the transformation
