this would be great in a mech mage deck...
Just summoned V-07-TR-0N in the portal brawl.
Poor sap didn't stand a chance against the power.
Personally, I believe this card is better when it's in a mech filled deck, but isn't the main highlight, for example if you make a Rogue Conceal Deck around him, I reckon it won't go good, because some matches you simply won't draw him and won't reach your win condition. I have him in my mech mage along with some other legends, (Dr. "Balanced", Sneed's and Ragnaros), and he works quite well. Your opponent often exhausts his removals on the other legends and then you play this card, and with mechs you often will have a board of three or more.
Drafted him in Arena along with 4 other mechs. Managed to activate him in my first match... couldn't believe it :D. Didn't even play him in the next 8 matches.
Just got this card, it was my first legendary ever. Was kinda disapointed and considering to disenchant it.
1 hour later this happens against me in a ranked game:
I kid you not, that perfect draw must be like a 1 in a million chance. I still cant really believe it. And that right after i almost disenchanted mine. Its a sign probably :p
Was able to transform him just now with my mech mage deck. It was surprisingly easy coz he's part of the 3 mechs that need to on the board to transfor into v07tr0n. It was awesome! 12hp face hit in one turn! Still don't know how to post pictures but will do once i figure it out.
Yes, but we both know you really like it for the golden animation
Why would you faceless manipulator mimiroons head? Can't you just wait till voltron is summoned and copy him directly?
So they destroy mimirons head and nothing happens... Or you make 2 of him and they destroy the one and one survives and summons voltron, you do not need 2 voltrons to win, but one will increase your chances greatly so rather increase your chances of making one.
i'm trying to make some sort of mage mech control deck, control the board and then mimiron's head... i don't claim it's good but when it works you pretty much win. the most spectacular win was summon voltron and then use faceless manipulator on it to deal 32 damage to face .
20 games and counting in casual mode, and haven't had him go off once. Worst GVG card? At least Hemet actually does something when played.
So finally after about 30 games of casual it came off. That was with having 27 of the cheapest mechs and 2 conceals.
FYI getting 3 of these out on the board (Faceless, Echo, etc) will NOT give you 3 of V-07-TR-0N it will only give one (confirmed by blizzard)
V-07-TR-0N is what is summoned.
My first Golden Legendary Ever and wow this one is a beast. So i was going against a face hunter. Got 2 mechs down. Threw him Down. Next Turn i had Coin / Coldblood / Faceless Manip. so 64 dmg in 1 turn! #GG
Two things to note:
1) Being clear, it's at the beginning of your next turn
2) It eats all mechs, but you only need the head + 2. First time I got it, I had head + 4 and they all went poof
Yikes -- good to know. Thanks!
If you use Faceless Manipulator on this with 3 mechs, will it summon two V-07-TR-ONs? Or do you need another 3 mechs for the second one?
Damn, this is confusing.
Has this been tested yet? It might just give one since he destroys all mechs. But they could trigger simultaneously and both summon.
The first one will create a V-07-TR-ON (which is a mech) and then the second head taking effects, create the second V-07-TR-ON, while destroy all the mech (including the first one)
So in short, you will always get at most 1 V-07-TR-ON.
no, use it after
