Perfectly balanced
This card needs a little more time to see how Blizzard would efficiently Nerf him. I feel that he is balanced because every class has a way to deal with him, hunters mark, polymorph, sap, shadow word death, naturalize, humility, execute, Hex, and siphon soul... not to mention that BGH is a choice too.
Only 1/3? I thought it was more, despite all the face decks out there.
make bots 0/1's if they were to "nerf" him?
Any card played in nearly every deck is probably not balanced. It's a ubiquitous choice for the 7 drop slot from Agro to Control. I'm not sure there currently exists a 7 drop that can match his efficiency or utility. Even in a meta with BGH floating around, his bomb mech's still give you value. There are very few, if any, bad scenarios to play the card in.
I think what makes this card more OP is that actually there are no other alternatives for the 7 mana slot. Even if nerfed to 6/6 or 7/5 it would still be used unless more minions appear in the 7 mana range.
6/6 would actually be a significant buff as it would put him out of BGH range.
The balance issue is that he's better than a few 8-drops and a couple 9-drops. Even when he's removed by BGH, he can go 2 for 1. Not many cards can pull that off.

Funny how on these forums people are talking about skills and making enormously elaborate guides about the most basic stuff that even a blind chicken understands. Nice try concealing that the game is won by having OP legendaries and the RNG doing its job.
Ill move on to real game instead.

It's all about making calculated risks when trying to foresee what cards your opponent uses.
Yes, it's hard to do and a lot of times impossible with some of the RNG, but that's part of the fun in this game imo.
